Colour is not decoration.
It is an event.

In Light, Held, Mara Venn treats the painted surface as a place where colour gathers, fractures and returns. Each work records a patient negotiation between gesture and stillness.

The exhibition brings together a new group of paintings developed across two years, shown alongside sculptural works by invited artists Ivo Rhee and Nia Calder.
